My Journey as a Holistic Skincare Specialist
My journey into holistic skincare began from a deeply personal need and an unwavering desire to understand the root causes of skin health to achieve lasting results. I’ve always had a passion for learning and acquiring new knowledge, especially in the realms of skin health and overall well-being.
As a wife and mother of three, I’ve gained a unique perspective. The birth of my children has been an incredible gift, yet watching them grow up with food intolerances and allergies—which manifested as various skin issues such as weeping behind the ears, dry patches, and constantly itching skin — compelled me to seek effective solutions.
My drive to help my children fueled my continuous learning and deepened my understanding that true skin health starts from within.
This personal journey has instilled in me deep empathy and a strong commitment to supporting others in finding their path to skin healing. My passion for skin health led me deep into the scientific research field, where I’ve studied everything from integrative dermatological nutrition to the functionality of the body at the cellular level.
I’ve invested tens of thousands in diverse training and mentorship programs, including studies in integrative nutridermatology in the UK. These insights and practical experiences in my studio in Estonia have provided me with the confidence and expertise to help you achieve healthy, radiant skin.
My professional journey has not been without its challenges. Balancing my career with the needs of my three wonderful children has often been difficult, as my dedication to work and passion for research sometimes take precedence over family time. This struggle to find balance has been tough, but it has shaped me into a dedicated and knowledgeable specialist who deeply understands my clients’ needs.
How I Healed my Acne and Learned to Listen to My Own Body
When I was 23 and had just given birth to my first child, I chose to use a hormonal IUD called Mirena based on my gynecologist’s recommendation. It promised light and painless periods, which seemed like an ideal solution for a young woman wanting to avoid heavy menstruation.
However, within the first couple of months, my skin started to break out with large, painful cystic pimples and red, inflamed nodules on my cheeks and chin.
Concerned about my skin – I never had acne when I was a teenager – I consulted my gynecologist, who suggested taking evening primrose oil capsules and advised that my body would eventually “adjust” to the hormonal IUD.
Despite following this advice. While being patient and trying to support skin health with recommended supplements, my skin did not improve.
I had a gut feeling that this sudden acne was not normal, and I needed to take action.
Lacking support from my initial doctor, I sought out another gynecologist who, at my request, removed the IUD.
Within a few months, I noticed my skin beginning to clear up. What a relief!
It took about six months for my skin to completely calm down and return to a clear and healthy state.
This nerve-wracking experience, combined with sleepless nights and stress over my skin while caring for a newborn, marked a turning point in my life.
It made me realise that skin conditions are not just a matter of skincare but a reflection of the body’s overall balance.
My child’s struggles with food intolerances and dermatitis further confirmed this understanding.
I learned how interconnected everything in the body is—nutrition, lifestyle, emotions, and physical health.
This experience was the foundation for my journey as a cosmetologist and holistic skincare specialist.
Today, I help my clients achieve healthy and clear skin by treating them as a whole.
My goal is to help others overcome skin issues like rosacea, psoriasis, acne, inflammation, persistent skin redness, and sensitivity from a holistic and comprehensive perspective.
In addition to my skincare expertise, I am a certified Life Coach and Hypnosis Practitioner.
